Ideal for creating a secure connection in simple, series, or parallel solar setups, these MC4 Connectors are made to be fitted simply to your 4-6mm² cables.

The connectors are marked with a positive and negative symbol to prevent the risk of reversing polarity and are made to fit together securely using the connector’s locking mechanism.

Note: The MC4 connector marked with “+” simply notes that it is a male connection – this is also the case for the female (-) MC4 connection.

With this magnetic mounting bracket, you can easily mount your Hardkorr inline solar regulator permanently in your 12v setup.

The bracket simply screws into the mounting surface using the four included mounting screws. Your regulator is then secured firmly onto the bracket by the two strong magnets, guided into place by the locating pins in each corner.

This smart regulator will optimally charge a range of battery types, including AGM, Gel, Calcium, Wet and all common lithium variants including LiFePO₄ and Li-ion. It contains a host of smart electronics including reverse polarity protection, short circuit protection, reverse current protection, overcharge protection and more.

Its large, backlit LCD screen provides useful information relating to power input and battery charge level, and inbuilt LEDs provide a quick-reference indicator of battery charge status.

It also contains smart re-activation technology, which gives it the ability to wake up a “dead” lithium battery where the BMS over-discharge protection circuit has been tripped. Simply connect the regulator to the battery and it will deliver special small-current pulses until the battery has recovered enough to be charged normally.

Installation and set-up is quick and easy, as there are no screw terminals and no risk of poor connection from frayed wires or loose terminals – simply plug and play.

Note: The MC4 connector marked with “+” simply notes that it is a male connection – this is also the case for the female (-) MC4 connection. The cable connected to the male MC4 is the negative lead, and the same rule applies to the female MC4 connection. This cable has been made to fit directly into the Hardkorr 170W Solar Panel.

The negative lead should trace from the Anderson port marked “-” to the MC4 connector “+” and should have text on the lead.
