With a huge number of epic rigs on display, plus food trucks, Hardkorr camper trailer and product demonstrations, a special appearance from the Red Bull event vehicle (10am-12pm), jerky eating challenge and giveaways throughout the day, it’s an event that has something for everyone who loves 4wding and camping.
102.9 Hot Tomato FM will also be there, doing a live broadcast from 10am until 2pm.
Best of all, Charlie Cameron from the Brisbane Lions will be joining us as a celebrity judge for the Show ‘n’ Shine competition. If you want to meet the “Motorbike Man” in person, there’s no better place to do it than at our open day!

4×4 Show ‘n’ Shine
Our Show ‘n’ Shine will have three categories to give different types of vehicles a crack at winning a prize. Entries are limited to a total of 100 vehicles. Categories are as follows:
Off-Road Animal
No mall-crawlers here – this category is for big lifts, big tyres, big turbos, big… well you get the picture.
Ultimate Tourer
Vehicles in this category will be suited to living completely off-the-grid, Mad Max style.
The Workhorse
This category is for tradie trucks, farm trucks… anything that cops a flogging 7 days a week.
Prizes & Judging
Prizes will be awarded to 1st and 2nd place in each category, plus a major prize for the best overall vehicle.
A panel of three judges, including our celebrity judge Charlie Cameron from the Brisbane Lions, will score each vehicle and decide the category winners. The best overall vehicle will be voted by the attendees on the day.
Prizes are as follows:
First place in category: $1,000 Hardkorr gift voucher
Second place in category: $250 Hardkorr gift voucher
Best overall: $2,000 Hardkorr voucher
All participants will receive a Hardkorr merch pack including a t-shirt, hat and one of our famous U-LiteÂâ„¢ LED camping lanterns (RRP $97).
Flex Ramp
Thanks to Drive Opposite Lock Ipswich, a flex ramp will be here on the day for those who want to demonstrate their vehicle’s capabilities on the bumpy stuff and get bragging rights with their mates!
Using the flex ramp is optional and costs just $10 for Show ‘n’ Shine participants, but will require a damage waiver/disclaimer document to be signed prior to use.
Due to time constraints, we can only allow Show ‘n’ Shine participants who have pre-booked via Eventbrite to use the flex ramp.

Red Bull Event Vehicle
Our mates at Red Bull will also be bringing their Event Vehicle and sampling team to pay us a visit from 10am to 12pm!
The Event Vehicle team will be pumping out bangers from their mobile DJ booth while the sampling team hands out free cans of ice cold Red Bull to keep you hydrated and energised through the day.
Food Trucks
We’ll have several food trucks on site to make sure you don’t go hungry or thirsty! There will be something for both kids and adults, including burgers, sausages, coffee, ice cream and snow cones. Tables and chairs will also be available.
Benz on Miller
Voted “Best Burgers in Brisbane” by the Courier-Mail in 2020, Benz on Miller is a must-try experience.
Burger affidionados rave about their famous “Sweet Baby Jeebus” fried chicken burger and “Benz Cheesy” cheeseburger, not to mention their insane loaded fries.

Softy & Frosty
Softy & Frosty’s vintage ice-cream truck brings to life childhood memories of the ice cream truck rolling through the streets. The sound of Greensleeves echoing up and down the hills of Brisbane sent households into a frenzy!
With their delicious fresh soft serve and range of classic additions on offer including flake, choc dip, sprinkles, nut and sherbet, kids and adults alike will be lining up to grab one!
German Doghouse Sausages
This one explains itself… German Doghouse Sausages offer a distinctly Teutonic take on the classic snag in bread. If you thought Bunnings sausages were as good as it gets, you’re in for a surprise!
GDS’s meats are all made locally on the Sunshine Coast, and they serve them in a fresh roll with onion and sauerkraut. There’s four options available including Spicy Knackwurst, Mild Bratwurst, Cheese Kranski and Smoked Brockwurst, expertly cooked fresh to order by GDS’s friendly team.
Mister Barista
Last but not least, no event would be complete without some caffeinated (and decaffeinated) beverages on offer, and that’s where Mister Barista comes in.
Using expertly crafted beans from Genovese Coffee, a three-generation Melbourne-based family coffee roastery, and with a full range of milks and syrups on board, Mister Barista coffees will be among the best you’ve ever tasted.
They can also do all of your non-caffeinated favourites including chais, hot chocolates, iced drinks and herbal teas.
The Carolina Reaper Jerky Eating Challenge!

Reckon you can handle the heat? Well thanks to Riverina Jerky, Australia’s most awarded jerky for 6 years straight, you can prove it with our Carolina Reaper Jerky Eating Challenge!
The rules are simple: we’ll give you a 25g bag of Riverina Jerky’s insane Carolina Reaper Beef Jerky, and you eat it as quickly as you can.
First to finish wins an awesome prize pack valued at over $100 including 4 bags of jerky (your choice of flavours), 1 pack of Pork Crackle, 3 Mettwurst Beir Sticks, a bottle opener, stubbie cooler and sticker all packaged up in a cooler bag!
Note: eating anything containing Carolina Reaper chillies is serious business and should only be attempted by fit and healthy people. All contestants will need to sign a waiver/disclaimer document prior to the contest.

Due the continued threat of COVID-19, certain precautions are in place to ensure we limit its spread to the greatest degree possible. Accordingly, all attendees are required to observe the following protocols:
- You must sign-in upon entry with the QR code provided;
- You must endeavour to keep a safe 1.5m distance between yourself and other attendees;
- You must regularly sanitise your hands, especially before and after eating. Hand sanitiser stations will be provided at the event;
- You must cover your mouth if you cough or sneeze.
If you are feeling unwell on the day, it is important that you DO NOT attend the event. If you are a participant in the Show ‘n’ Shine, your entry fee will be refunded in full provided you notify us at least one hour before the commencement of the event.
