On the 1st of November, a bushfire ripped through The Springs 4×4 Park, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake.
Owners Lucas, Michelle and Tyler Bree have put every bit of their heart and soul into the park since they took it over. They work their backsides off at least 6 days a week, come rain hail or shine (or fire) to keep the park in tip top shape, and to see this happen to them is heartbreaking.
We want to show the Bree family how much we as a community appreciate them, and there’s no better time to do that then right now, when they’ve just taken a massive kick in the guts. So we’re putting together a working bee to help them clean up the park and get it ready for the Christmas/NY holidays.
At this stage the exact details are still being worked out – Lucas has just gone almost 40 hours straight without sleep – but given the short timeframe we wanted to get the word out as soon as possible.
We will be donating food, drinks, gloves, bags etc for the event as well as being there to lead the clean-up effort.
Any suggestions or offers of assistance are welcome – don’t be afraid to share ideas.
