Hardkorr’s XD120 slimline driving/work light is perfect for applications where extra light is needed but space is tight, such as motorcycles and small SUVs. Its combination beam provides a balance between illuminating the shoulder of the road and forward of the vehicle.

It can also be used as a reverse light, under roof racks, or under the side loops on some bullbars.

The XD120 makes use of six high-quality 3w OSRAM® LEDs for a total output of 18w. This is turned into 120m of forward projection with even, black spot-free flood components on each side of the beam.

What is the difference between lumens and lux?

Answer: Lumens simply measures the total quantity of light emitted at the source. It does not take into account the ability of the light to direct that light into a usable pattern, which is a critical function of a driving light. Lux, on the other hand, measures the total distance travelled by that light beam, which is a function of the precision with which the reflectors have been designed and engineered. It is a much better measure of the quality of a light.

What's the difference between driving lights and light bars?

Answer: Driving lights will generally give you a greater forward distance, whereas light bars will give more spread to the sides of the road. As technology improves we are starting to see more crossover between the two i.e. driving lights with improving flood capability and light bars with increasing forward distance, but the difference in shape will mean that each type of light will always have an inherent advantage over the other in one area.

Why is it important to use high-quality brand LED chips?

Answer: It is worth remembering that LED chips contain many microscopic parts, and the manufacturing process is very complex. Firstly and most importantly, higher-quality chips will last much longer on average compared to those of lesser quality. Given the difficulty in replacing an LED chip compared to say an HID bulb, longevity is of paramount importance. There is nothing worse than having an LED spotlight on the front of your vehicle with a few dead chips! Secondly, high-quality LED chips will be much more consistent in colour temperature, which means the appearance of the LED driving light will be much more uniform. LED spot lights using high-quality LEDs will have a better Colour Rendering Index (CRI), which is a measure of the accuracy with which the light reveals colours to the human eye.

Answer: When your order is completed and shipped, you will receive an automatic email containing your tracking number and a link to track your parcel. How much do you charge for shipping?

Answer: Delivery on all orders over $100 is free of charge within Australia, with the exception of the following remote postcodes: 0800-0999, 2898-2899, and 6215-6799. Any orders that do not meet the free shipping criteria are charged at our cost.

What is Transit Protection?

Answer: At checkout, you will have the option to take Transit Protection. For a small fee, Transit Protection guarantees the safety of your order in transit. If any product in your order is lost or damaged after it leaves our warehouse, we will organise for a replacement to be sent at no additional cost to you. Click here to find out more.

What happens if I do not select the Transit Protection option?

Answer: We send all orders via reliable Australian freight companies such as Australia Post and Star Track, and incidences of lost or damaged items are very rare. In the event that loss or damage does occur, we will always do our best to assist where we can. However, please note that in some cases you may need to seek resolution through the courier company directly if you do not take the Transit Protection option at checkout and your goods are lost or damaged in transit.
