Our Recovery Ring Kit is a convenient alternative to your traditional snatch block kit. The kit comes with the custom moulded Ring made from a lightweight 7075 Aluminium alloy, rated at a Weight Load Limit of 10,000KG, and a Soft Shackle, rated at an MBS of 14,000KG.

WHY SOFT RECOVERY GEAR?

What is MBS?

The amount of force that can be applied to your recovery equipment before it starts to tear, rip, or break. The MBS value of your recovery equipment should be at least 2-3 times the gross weight of the vehicle being recovered. Our MBS figures are certified by one of Australia’s leading accredited NATA labs.

What is WLL?

The maximum load that can be applied to your equipment. It’s important to note that while our Recovery Ring and Hitch Block WLL figures are generally very high, the ropes and shackles they are designed to be used with have a lower breaking weight. This is done intentionally for the safety of the user.

NEVER attach recovery straps to vehicle fittings such as tow balls, tow bars, tie-down points or tow hooks. ONLY attach recovery straps to an APPROVED recovery point/device that is suitably rated for use with the strap. BEFORE attempting a vehicle recovery, all passengers must exit the vehicles and stand as far away as possible.
