Our 4 bar LED camping light kit is designed for medium sized campsites or camper trailers. With 2,360 lumens total light output (on white setting) and over 24m of high quality plug-and-play cabling, this kit gives you plenty of flexibility to light up every part of your setup.
Each bar comes with both orange and white LEDs, and using our exclusive tri-colour dimmer switches, you can create three distinct colours of light – cool white, warm white and orange. The cool white light provides maximum brightness, whereas the new warm white setting gives off a light that is almost as bright as cool white, but with a pleasant soothing warmth. It’s perfect for setting a calm, happy mood in your campsite, particularly later at night. Finally, switching to the orange light naturally reduces the presence of bugs by up to 90%, and is particularly useful around food preparation and eating areas.
The dimmer switch comes with our removable pole clips so you can attach it to a tent or awning pole, giving you one less thing to worry about misplacing out in the bush.

The LED camp lights that Hardkorr invented are now seen across thousands of Australian campsites. In the years since we introduced them to the market, we’ve developed and released many innovations and improvements designed to make your camping experience comfortable and hassle-free, including orange/white technology, reinforced grommet ends, inbuilt magnets, removable pole clips and more.
We’ve now taken the next leap forward in design and technology, making lighting your campsite even easier by addressing some of the key gripes campers had with previous LED lighting technology. Our exclusive diffusers, now included with all light bars, create a much wider, more pleasant light beam – no more LEDs shining in your eyes if you’re on the wrong angle! The light bar pole clips make attaching your bars to non-magnetic tent poles much easier.
Additionally, flush mounting is now easier and looks better thanks to our wire-covering end caps and flush mount clips (flush mount clips sold separately).
And if all that wasn’t enough… our new dimmers give these kits the ability to now produce three shades of light: cool white, warm white and orange! The new warm white setting gives off a light that is nearly as bright as cool white, but with a pleasant soothing warmth to the colour.
How does orange light reduce bug presence?
Some bugs, like mosquitos and moths, can’t help but move their body towards any light source they can see. This phenomenon is called positive phototaxis. Entomologists still don’t have a complete understanding of why this phenomenon exists, but it is clearly observable in nature.
Of course, bugs will only be attracted to light they can see, and there is a useful difference between the spectra of light which are visible to humans compared to bugs. Humans can generally see light which has a wavelength between 380nm (blue) and 740nm (red). Most bugs, conversely, can see light with a wavelength between 300nm and 600nm.
The wavelength of our orange LEDs is 610nm, putting them outside of the spectrum visible to must bugs, but still well inside the boundaries of human vision. As a result, most bugs will not congregate around our orange light because they simply don’t know it is there.

Great lights easy to set up and use adding the motion sensor meant when walking back to the awning at night the lights come straight on without needing a torch to find the controller and can be left on as they turn themselves off again.
Only negative, in extremely cold conditions the plastic clamps that attach to the awning poles become very brittle and are easy to break.

I purchased the 4 bar orange/white camping light kit and was a little disappointed when reading the instructions which said that you can only have a maximum of 3 light bars connected per power source. So to follow the instructions correctly, to run 4 bars I need to have 2 power outlets which I find a little disappointing. My last kit didn’t’t require this. When camping I am limited to power outlets due to running an electric tap, fridge, other accessories and then the lights all off battery power.

Purchased the new tricolour set for installation in the rear aluminium canopy on the back of the Hilux. Only installed two lights which I hard wired giving me controlled lighting on either side of the canopy. Having the ability to control the strength of the light and colour has given me the ability to cook around the vehicle with a reduction in insects making the experience more comfortable. I have kept the other two lights on the supplied extended leads which gives me control of where I place them away from the vehicle as well as conserving battery power with the second light control. Everyone is impressed with the quality of the product as well as the ability to control the type and strength of the light. Actually a far better quality product than i expected.

I bought two of these kits and installed one permanently in my camping trailer and the other kit is for the annex. I love the solid carry case for protection when travelling. When they arrived one switch was dead on arrival. I contacted Hard Korr Warranty and they immediately sent a replacement in the mail. Excellent product and excellent service. The orange light is great when the bugs are around and the white is good for reading. Plenty of light but they have different fittings to the oztrail so cant be joined together.
