Don’t be fooled by the price – this is a full-featured camp light kit that is capable of providing bright, usable illumination to medium sized campsites and camper trailers.
Each IP68 waterproof bar is constructed of high-quality 6063 aluminium with an ultra-clear epoxy resin coating over the LED chips. All plugs come with screw fittings for hassle-free setup, and the kit also includes two dimmer switches as well as over 11m of double-insulated, oxygen-free cabling.
Best of all, two of the light bars included in the pack are equipped with our famous switchable orange/white light technology! Just like in our premium kits, you can select white light for maximum brightness or orange light for a 90% reduction in the presence of bugs – all in the one light bar.

How does orange light reduce bug presence?
Some bugs, like mosquitos and moths, can’t help but move their body towards any light source they can see. This phenomenon is called positive phototaxis. Entomologists still don’t have a complete understanding of why this phenomenon exists, but it is clearly observable in nature.
Of course, bugs will only be attracted to light they can see, and there is a useful difference between the spectra of light which are visible to humans compared to bugs. Humans can generally see light which has a wavelength between 380nm (blue) and 740nm (red). Most bugs, conversely, can see light with a wavelength between 300nm and 600nm.
The wavelength of our orange LEDs is 610nm, putting them outside of the spectrum visible to must bugs, but still well inside the boundaries of human vision. As a result, most bugs will not congregate around our orange light because they simply don’t know it is there.

Great lights. Would be good if there was an extra couple of leads so you could put the switch wherever you wanted instead of having to put it right near the light bar. otherwise they work great in my canopy. Really easy to install.

Awesome lights. Love having dimmable lights in the back of my wagon. They are easy to install, nice and bright so I can see everything without having to strain my eyes. I also no longer use my original rear interior light. The color changing lights are good as I can choose to have more white light when cooking or change to orange if I want to keep the bug numbers down.

I have now purchased two of these Orange White dimmer lighting kits. They are simply great for immediate outside or inside area lighting. The Orange is great at night as we have not noticed any bugs hanging around due to the light.
These are not area lights nor are the intended. Great value, had to buy the 2nd set as soon as I saw them on special, didn’t have a specific need but loved the first ones so much. Kit has everything needed, love the magnets in the lights.
