This 2m stick-on orange & white LED tape light provides excellent adhesive capabilities, utilising genuine 3M® double-sided tape along the entire back of the tape. Its flexibility makes it perfect for both flat and curved surfaces, and it can even stick to most types of fabric such as canvas. In addition, it can be cut every 5cm, ensuring you can get the perfect fit for your application. NOTE: to retain waterproofness in the event you cut the strip, you will need to attach the rubber cap from the off-cut to the cut end with silicon, ensuring you plug the hole where the other cable exited the cap.
Using our exclusive dimmer switch, you can switch between three colours – cool white, warm white and orange. The cool white light provides maximum brightness, whereas the new warm white setting gives off a light that is almost as bright as cool white, but with a pleasant soothing warmth. It’s perfect for setting a calm, happy mood in your campsite, particularly later at night. Finally, switching to the orange light naturally reduces the presence of bugs by up to 90%, and is particularly useful around food preparation and eating areas.
The dimmer switch comes with our removable pole clips so you can attach it to a tent or awning pole, giving you one less thing to worry about misplacing out in the bush.

How does orange light reduce bug presence?
Some bugs, like mosquitos and moths, can’t help but move their body towards any light source they can see. This phenomenon is called positive phototaxis. Entomologists still don’t have a complete understanding of why this phenomenon exists, but it is clearly observable in nature.
Of course, bugs will only be attracted to light they can see, and there is a useful difference between the spectra of light which are visible to humans compared to bugs. Humans can generally see light which has a wavelength between 380nm (blue) and 740nm (red). Most bugs, conversely, can see light with a wavelength between 300nm and 600nm.
The wavelength of our orange LEDs is 610nm, putting them outside of the spectrum visible to must bugs, but still well inside the boundaries of human vision. As a result, most bugs will not congregate around our orange light because they simply don’t know it is there.

Answer: When your order is completed and shipped, you will receive an automatic email containing your tracking number and a link to track your parcel. How much do you charge for shipping?
Answer: Delivery on all orders over $100 is free of charge within Australia, with the exception of the following remote postcodes: 0800-0999, 2898-2899, and 6215-6799. Any orders that do not meet the free shipping criteria are charged at our cost.
What is Transit Protection?
Answer: At checkout, you will have the option to take Transit Protection. For a small fee, Transit Protection guarantees the safety of your order in transit. If any product in your order is lost or damaged after it leaves our warehouse, we will organise for a replacement to be sent at no additional cost to you. Click here to find out more.
What happens if I do not select the Transit Protection option?
Answer: We send all orders via reliable Australian freight companies such as Australia Post and Star Track, and incidences of lost or damaged items are very rare. In the event that loss or damage does occur, we will always do our best to assist where we can. However, please note that in some cases you may need to seek resolution through the courier company directly if you do not take the Transit Protection option at checkout and your goods are lost or damaged in transit.

I bought two of these strips for my camper trailer back in 2017, the colour temp for the white is awesome and the orange is fantastic once cooking is over to keep the bugs away. Have recently added the new switch to flick between white / orange / white & orange together and this is amazing love the both together for general use. I did have to add a better double sided tape due to the rough plastic surface, but no biggy and I have it integrated into my vehicle battery management switching system.

Really bright, super bright actually. I’ve installed them in the rear of my fourby, to replace the candles that Toyota use, wired to a second battery in the cargo are. The difference is amazing. The orange light hue Seems to live up to. The bug free promise from my previous experience of the rigid loght model, which brings me to my favourite feature- the little piggy tail at the end that lets me plug in even more lights for my awning. My only caution is that the switch is not a switch, it’s a dimmer, and it’s easy to bump the lights on by acccident. But that’s an easy solve by simply unplugging them for most folks.

I have hard wired the LED under the wing door of my fourby’s alloy canopy which gives ample light both inside and outside.
